This 4 star hotel sits in the very heart of the metropolis, just across the road from the world famous Carnegie Hall and 0.3 miles from the entrance to Central Park. Three nearby stations give direct access to eight of New York’s Metro lines, making it a great base for exploring the city. So you can start the day with a delicious flaky pastry and an aromatic Nespresso® coffee. The service is available from 6:30am, ideal if you’re feeling a bit jet lagged.\n\nIn the evening (from 5pm) you may choose to visit Park Lounge, a cocktail bar with large communal tables. It offers everything from Tuscan Pear cocktails, Chardonnay, whisky and tequila to beers. Plus, if you get peckish they can rustle up a fried chicken sandwich, caesar salad, buffalo wings or a jumbo pretzel with cheese sauce. Please note it’s closed on Sundays and Mondays.\n\nRooms are available with either a king-size bed or two singles. Your TV will include ESPN and other subscription TV channels, great for sports fans. If you’re more into films you haven’t been forgotten, as there’s also on demand movies. Sharing with a friend? Maybe you’ll want to consider the Deluxe with two queen beds. Classic rooms are on the lower three floors, while Premiers on the higher floors, offering great views across the city.\n\nThe neighbouring world famous Central Park boasts a zoo, children’s playground, turtle pond, art galleries, gardens, arboretums and much more. Children won’t want to miss the Alice in Wonderland statue or the monument to Balto (a husky dog who helped transport life saving medication to Alaska). Less than a mile from the hotel you’ve got the Empire State Building, Madame Tussauds, the Rockefeller Centre and the bright lights of Times Square. Just a little further out there’s the imposing Grand Central station and the Museum of The Dog. To escape the city for half a day take the ferry out to see The Statue of Liberty, where you’ll be able to get some great shots for your social feeds.
