Further west is the city of Antalya. While it is now a large city with 2.5 million inhabitants, you can visit the maze-like Kaleiçi district, where perfectly restored whitewashed and red-roofed Ottoman houses line the cobblestone streets. While wandering the streets you should look out for the fortress gate, the stone clock tower and the 18th Century mosque.
