You can live and breathe Lanzarote at Royal Village, as the resort is styled like a typical Canarian town with its shiny white walls, volcanic rock, cobbled streets and traditional benches. Here, you have the option of hiring a boat from the marina to explore the island's coastline. Lanzarote's famous dormant volcanoes can be found at Timanfaya National Park, 20km away. It’s the only Natural Park in Spain which is entirely geological. To see the effects of a volcano, then pay a visit to Los Hervideros (15km away) where the spectacular formation of cliffs and caves are due to lava.
