Stocking up with your favourite foods is a breeze, thanks to the mini supermarket that’s just 200m away. One Bed Villas offer the same facilities but with separate rooms for sleeping, cooking and relaxing. The Two Bed Villa option has two floors, with an additional bedroom and a bath, as well as a shower. These can cater for families of up to six. Upgrade to a superior option and you’ll also get a washing machine - some even include a rooftop terrace!
If you want to explore an unspoilt landscape, you’ll be in the right place, as the island’s nature parks stretch for miles. Is Lobos Island on your bucket list? Just 20 minutes by ferry from Corralejo (20km drive away), it’s easy to get there and well worth the trip - it’s so peaceful that you’re only allowed to stay in this beauty spot for four hours at the most! But don’t worry, it’s small enough to cycle around the entire island in about 45 minutes. Alternatively, you may opt to go snorkelling, windsurfing or dolphin watching.
Or if you’re a cheese lover, you won’t want to miss out on a visit to Museo del Queso (45 minutes’ drive away). Here, you can sample the local Majorero cheese, once you’ve become an expert on this delicacy made from goat’s milk.
